Grammar School and High School; Ripon, CA; graduated from high school in 1960,

Undergraduate: Modesto Junior College 1961-1962 and 1963-1964.

Santa Rosa Junior College 1964-1965.
University of California, Davis 1965-1966.

Medical School: University of California, Los Angeles Medical

School 1966-1970. Graduated in 1970 as an M.D.

Internship: Served a rotating internship 1570-1971 at
San Joaquin General Hospital.

Residency: General surgery residency 1971-1972 at San
Joaquin General Hospital.
Eight months orthopedic residency 1972-1973 at
Bowman-Gray Medical School, Winston-Salem NC.
orthopedic residency 1973-1976 at Henry Ford
Hospital in Detroit, MI, opened practice in Modesto, CA in 1976 in
private practice of orthopedic surgery,

Passed orthopedic Board Examination in September, 1977 and became board certified in 1977 in orthopedic surgery. Continued practice in Modesto, CA in orthopedic surgery until 1981.

Served a three-month spine fellowship in 1981 from April through June at St. Luke's Presbyterian Hospital in Houston, TX under Dr. Alexander Brodsky.

Continued in the private practice Of orthopedic surgery subspecializing in spine surgery and working as a partner at the Modesto Orthopedic Group from July, 1981 through December, 1987.went into solo orthopedic practice sub-specializing in spine surgery at 1329 Spanos Court, Modesto, CA in December 1987.

Formed Central Valley Spine Center in August, 1990, and active in that practice up to the present time.
